This one was written by a 4th grader. The topic: What is your greatest fear?
My most greatest fear is girl. Because girls hit me very strong. When girls see me, they hit together. I didn't do anything, but they hit me.
I try to hit girls, but girls are very scary and strong. When girls angry, they're stronger and hit boys. Some boys are teasing girls and girls hit them, but most girls just hit boys.
I don't teasing girls, but girls hit me. So when boys do something, we need to do carefully. We are not free. I hope that the girls don't hit boys.

ReplyDeleteWe are not free! Too too good.
ReplyDeletei'm all for guys being put in their place when need be, but this is just so sad. i hope he's able to get some good advice about how to handle bullies from you andrea.
ReplyDeletei've been feeling guilty for being such a party pooper ever since i posted before. can i just add that i'm looking at this from the point of view of the mom of sons who do like to tease, but i've been led to believe are very sweet? i know they can be when they want to be anyway.
ReplyDeletei have heard stories, now that it's too late to ground them, about how much they enjoyed being big brothers, the tall tales they told amanda and otherwise helped her grow up to be the skeptical, suspicious person she is today. she survived and loves them very much.
aw, it's okay. this kid is adorable, and i think in a few years he'll still be fending off the girls, but he'll probably be okay with it :)
